Introduction Confusion

Hi there, this is my first blog posting to show my work and to maybe get some feedback. My name is Jack Tsai and I'm an All-Over-Artist. My background is illustration, having an associate's degree in it, and my profession is more toy design, having a bachelor's degree in that. My artistic ideal has always been to be a well-rounded artist/designer since the begining. To try to follow the great Renaissance Artists is quite daunting, but I feel that to be good, you have to strive to be great. Well that has gotten me to a certain level of discipline, but now that I have been trying to find my niche in the marketplace, it has created some dilemmas for me. I've worked for several toy companies already, ranging from pre-school to action figures. In these companies I've done alittle of everything; concept drawings, control drawings, color matching, graphic design, and package design. Right now I am still freelancing for some of these companies. Also, I am providing illustrations and designing graphics with a small studio that provides designs for children's wear to companies like Dillards and Target.
I like being challenged by the constantly different assignments, but I would like to try to move back towards pure illustration (whatever that is...). So, I am building a more specific portfolio right now, and would like to get some feedback at what direction to head in judging by my work. I am moving towards concept art, because it feels like a good combination of product design and illustration which is my skillset. So if you'd please take a look at my work and maybe post some suggestions, it would be highly appreciated. By the way, the website is not looking very sharp right now. It was a quick thing to get the work up, and the redesign is underway. Please be patient with it.
I'm also posting some of my stuff on here:

Motley Monsters Children's book in color pencils
Luxury Coupe Concept Design done in pen and colored in Photoshop

"Dualnity" Oil Painting depicting conflicting and coexisting philosophies
In progress: Aeronaut Concept done in Painter

Political cartoon showing American hypocratic foreign policy done in Photoshop

Hey Jack,

I always thought that your drafting skills were top notch (you should put the bag rendering up so people can see you're skilled in that area). I always thought that sketches that you wanted to do were fun and very well done. there was a sketch you did of me once out of your head that was crazy. it looks like you like doing motley monsters and funny, or cute illustrations and that car design and stuff is your day job that you hate. Thats wat is looks like to me. Then again i am not into car design. I love all your whimsical and funny stuff (which is not up here) but you might be searching for a deeper more meaningful experience right? I dont know, keep on drawing
